On April 14, an artistic and musical troupe to sing for the reunification of Korea and for promoting anti-imperialist struggle all over the world, performed at Sorbonne université in Paris, France.
The World Anti-imperialist Platform organized the European tour of Hope Bird. It started in Belgrade, Serbia which bombed by NATO 25 years ago, and continue to Bruxelles (Belgium), London (UK) and Marseille, Lyon and Paris (France).
The performance at Sorbonne université concludes the Hope Bird’s European tour series.
The speaker of the Platform warned the crisis of World War 3, and emphasized the necessary of anti-imperialist struggle.
She said “The source of World War 3 is the US imperialist aggressors.”, “The US’ World War 3 strategy is to intensify the World War 3, which began with the war in Ukraine and intensified with the wars in Palestine and the Middle East, into the wars in South Korea and Taiwan.”
“As the world knows, the US aggressors are waging World War 3 by proxy wars through pro-US fascist forces, such as Zelensky and neo-Nazis in the Ukraine war and Netanyahu and fascists in the Palestine war and the Middle East.”, “We are convinced that the historical mission of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform, under the circumstances of World War III, is to put an end to the common enemies of the world’s people: US imperialism, NATO, and fascist puppets.”, she added.
Hope Bird presented a theater and musical performance at the square of the Sorbonne university.
Beginning with “Song of May 1, 2, 3”, Hope Bird played “There That Day in May 1980” and performed with Red Flag, singing “Under the mountains and streams” and “Over the land and the sky down”.
The performance continued with the songs “Do you hear the people sing?”, “Fly high, dove”, “¡El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!”, “Listen Yankee”, “Marching for the beloved”, “Let morning shine”, “Trail”, and “Bella Ciao”.
At the end of the event, the participants and citizens chanted “Stop the imperialist drive to war!”, “Withdraw the US military base, the source of all evil!” “A people united will never be defeated!” and sang “The international” together.
Hope Bird shouted that “Let us proceed to a new society built by the united people!”
Aymeric Monville from the Pole of Communist Revival in France (PRCF) remarked that France provides arms to the Nazi-rooted Azov regiment in Ukraine but remains silent on Palestine. The one-sided and selective reporting of the media is one of the proofs that French society is being fascistized.
He pointed out upcoming World War 3, and the society without reason.
The crowd applauded and chanted “Fight!” and raised their fists in unison.
