{"id":6013,"date":"2025-06-22T22:01:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-22T22:01:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wap21.org\/?p=6013"},"modified":"2025-07-06T22:05:44","modified_gmt":"2025-07-06T22:05:44","slug":"the-people-will-not-surrender-argentinas-anti-imperialist-struggle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wap21.org\/?p=6013","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;The People Will Not Surrender: Argentina\u2019s Anti-Imperialist Struggle&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#250622\uc544\ub974\ud5e8\ud2f0\ub098\ud574\ubc29\ub2f9-\uc601\uc5b4\">English<\/a> \/ <a href=\"#250622\uc544\ub974\ud5e8\ud2f0\ub098\ud574\ubc29\ub2f9-\uc11c\uc5b4\">Spanish<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ps2id-block-target\" id=\"250622\uc544\ub974\ud5e8\ud2f0\ub098\ud574\ubc29\ub2f9-\uc601\uc5b4\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Liberation Party (PL) of Argentina<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Liberation Party (PL) of Argentina extends fraternal greetings to the parties and comrades of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform meeting in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;We feel part of this Platform, which we formally requested to join in December 2024 because we agree with the general thrust of its anti-imperialist and combative programs and initiatives to achieve the goals of national and social liberation and socialism with national characteristics for our respective working classes and peoples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of Argentina, we are fighting against a fascist government like that of Javier Milei and the monopolies, which have laid off 173,563 workers in the private and public sectors, plus at least twice as many unregistered workers, in a year and a half of administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, this government has increased the foreign debt by $120 billion, of which $20 billion was granted by the IMF in an illegal and fraudulent process that did not go through Congress, as required by our National Constitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As these foreign debt payments are not being made by this Yankee neocolony, the government is handing over natural resources (water, gold, lithium, gas, oil, etc.) to multinationals through the Incentive Regime for Large Investors (RIGI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Another consequence of this austerity and surrender is growing police repression against protesters, workers, retirees, universities, hospitals, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, feminists, etc. Every week there are crackdowns with hundreds of people detained and injured by the \u201csecurity\u201d forces, i.e., repressive forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Added to this was the June 10 proscriptive and prison sentence against former President Cristina Fern\u00e1ndez de Kirchner through a rigged ruling by the Supreme Court of Injustice. The sentence was prepared for years by this biased justice system, which is controlled by economic power, and we therefore condemn it. The PL stands in solidarity with the former president, who is being persecuted like Lula in Brazil, Evo Morales in Bolivia, Rafael Correa in Ecuador, and Pedro Castillo in Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our struggle, like yours, also encompasses international issues, such as the drama of our countries&#8217; external debt, the mobilization against the genocide that Israel has been committing in Palestine for decades, the denunciation of the current aggression of Zionism against Iran, the war in Ukraine and NATO against Russia, the Trump administration&#8217;s war not only of tariffs against the world and especially against China; the US blockade against Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua. At this juncture, the attacks against Palestine and Iran are very serious, putting the world at risk of a new world war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From faraway Argentina, we salute your meeting and wish you every success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">National Secretariat of the PL of Argentina<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">June 14, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ps2id-block-target\" id=\"250622\uc544\ub974\ud5e8\ud2f0\ub098\ud574\ubc29\ub2f9-\uc11c\uc5b4\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SALUDO DEL PL DE ARGENTINA A LA PLATAFORMA MUNDIAL ANTIIMPERIALISTA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Partido de la Liberaci\u00f3n (PL) de Argentina saluda fraternalmente a los partidos y camaradas de la Plataforma Mundial Antiimperialista que se re\u00fanen en Pa\u00edses Bajos. Nos sentimos parte de esa Plataforma a la que pedimos formalmente el ingreso en diciembre de 2024 porque coincidimos con el sentido general de sus programas e iniciativas antiimperialistas y combativas para lograr los objetivos de liberaci\u00f3n nacional y social, del socialismo con peculiaridades nacionales de nuestras respectivas clases trabajadoras y pueblos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el caso de Argentina, luchamos contra un gobierno fascista como el de Javier Milei y los monopolios, que han despedido a 173.563 trabajadores del sector privado y del p\u00fablico, m\u00e1s una cantidad de al menos el doble de trabajadores no registrados, en un a\u00f1o y medio de gesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En paralelo ese gobierno aument\u00f3 la deuda externa en 120.000 millones de d\u00f3lares, de los cuales 20.000 millones le fueron otorgados por el FMI en un tr\u00e1mite ilegal y fraudulento que no pas\u00f3 por el Congreso como marca nuestra Constituci\u00f3n Nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como esos pagos de esa deuda externa no se completan por parte de esta neocolonia yanqui, entonces el gobierno entrega a las multinacionales los recursos naturales (agua, oro, litio, gas, petr\u00f3leo, etc) mediante el R\u00e9gimen de Incentivo a Grandes Inversores (RIGI).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Y la otra consecuencia de ese ajuste y entrega es la creciente represi\u00f3n policial contra quienes protestan, trabajadores, jubilados, universidades, hospitales, pueblos originarios, discapacitados, feminismos, etc. Todas las semanas hay represiones con centenares de detenidos y heridos por las fuerzas de \u201cSeguridad\u201d, l\u00e9ase represivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A eso se a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el 10 de junio una medida proscriptiva y carcelaria contra la ex presidenta Cristina Fern\u00e1ndez de Kirchner mediante un fallo ama\u00f1ado de la Corte Suprema de Injusticia. La condena fue preparada durante a\u00f1os por esa justicia parcial y manejada por el poder econ\u00f3mico, por lo que la repudiamos. El PL se solidariza con la ex presidenta, perseguida como Lula en Brasil, Evo Morales en Bolivia, Rafael Correa en Ecuador y Pedro Castillo en Per\u00fa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nuestra lucha tambi\u00e9n, como la de ustedes, abarca tambi\u00e9n las cuestiones internacionales, como el drama del endeudamiento externo de nuestros pa\u00edses, la movilizaci\u00f3n contra el genocidio que comete Israel en Palestina desde hace d\u00e9cadas, la denuncia de la actual agresi\u00f3n del sionismo contra Ir\u00e1n, la guerra de Ucrania y la OTAN contra Rusia, la guerra no s\u00f3lo de aranceles de la administraci\u00f3n Trump contra el mundo y especialmente contra China; el bloqueo de EE UU contra Cuba, Venezuela y Nicaragua.
