We condemn the demolition of monuments to victors of Nazism in World War II!
The ruling political forces in Baltic countries are carrying out a large-scale campaign to distort the true causes of the beginning, course and results of the Second World War. One of the radical methods of this campaign is the mass demolition of monuments dedicated to the events and heroes of this historical period. The reason for justifying the acts of vandalism was the fictitious equating of the actions of the Red Army to liberate the territory of Baltics from the Nazi invaders to the ongoing armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
Representatives of parties and countries that support this Petition, designate that the monuments to the events of the Second World War have no connection with today’s events in Ukraine. All the peoples of the former USSR, including Ukrainians, bravely fought against Nazi Germany and its allies, many of them died in this struggle. The result was a great Victory over nazism, unanimously recognized by the whole world immediately after the end of the war. Ignoring this fact is cynical political hypocrisy.
We call on sane people of all countries, who cherish the historical memory and the true facts about the greatest tragedy of the Second World War, to strongly condemn the attempts to distort the history and the campaign carried out by the Baltic countries authorities to demolish monuments.

Осуждаем снос памятников победителям нацизма во Второй мировой войне!
Правящие в странах Балтии политические силы осуществляют широкомасштабную кампанию по искажению истинных причин начала, хода и результатов Второй мировой войны. Одним из радикальных средств этой кампании стал массовый снос памятников, посвящённых событиям и героям этого исторического периода. Поводом для оправдания актов вандализма стало надуманное приравнивание действий Красной Армии по освобождению территории Прибалтики от гитлеровских захватчиков к происходящему в настоящее время вооружённому конфликту между Украиной и Россией.
Представители партий и стран, поддерживающие настоящее Обращение, отмечают, что памятники событиям Второй мировой войны не имеют никакого отношения и никакой связи с сегодняшними событиями на Украине. Все народы бывшего СССР, в их числе и украинцы, мужественно сражались против нацистской Германии и её союзников, многие погибли в этой борьбе. Итогом стала великая Победа над нацизмом, единодушно признанная всем миром сразу же после окончания войны. Игнорирование этого факта является циничным политическим лицемерием.
Призываем здравомыслящих людей всех стран, кому дороги историческая память и подлинная правда о величайшей трагедии Второй мировой войны, решительно осудить попытки их искажения и осуществляемую властями стран Балтии кампанию по сносу памятников.

¡Condenamos la demolición de los monumentos a los vencedores del nazismo en la Segunda Guerra Mundial!
Las fuerzas políticas gobernantes en los Países Bálticos están llevando a cabo una campaña a gran escala para distorsionar las verdaderas causas del comienzo, el curso y los resultados de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Uno de los medios radicales de esta campaña fue la demolición masiva de monumentos dedicados a los episodios y héroes de este período histórico. La razón para justificar los actos de vandalismo fue la equiparación ficticia de las acciones del Ejército Rojo para liberar el territorio Báltico de los invasores nazis al conflicto armado en curso entre Ucrania y Rusia.
Los representantes de los partidos y países que apoyan esta Petición señalan que los monumentos a los acontecimientos de la Segunda Guerra Mundial no tienen nada que ver ni conexión con los acontecimientos de hoy en Ucrania. Todos los pueblos de la antigua URSS, incluidos los ucranianos, lucharon valientemente contra la Alemania nazi y sus aliados, muchos murieron en esta lucha. El resultado fue una gran Victoria sobre el Nazismo, reconocida unánimemente por todo el mundo inmediatamente después del final de la guerra. Ignoración de este hecho es hipocresía política cínica.
Llamamos a las personas sensatas de todos los países, que cuidan la memoria histórica y verdaderos hechos sobre la mayor tragedia de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, para que condenen enérgicamente los intentos de distorsionarlos y la campaña que están llevando las autoridades de los Países Bálticos para demoler monumentos.
