On August 6, the World Anti-imperialist Platform participated in a peace demonstration commemorating the 78th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Ghent, Belgium, to protest against NATO’s nuclear weapons and imperialist war drive.

In front of St. Nicholas Church, where the memorial event was held, the Platform held a demonstration with the banner “Disband NATO”.

Later, it participated in a follow-up event along the Leie River and held a propaganda campaign with the banner “Disband NATO”, ”Stop the Imperialist Drive to War”.
