Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPMK)
Comrades,
We, the Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPMK), issue this urgent resolution to all Marxist-Leninist, anti-imperialist, and revolutionary organisations gathered at the 8th Platform Conference.
In the second quarter of 2026, the comprador regime in Kenya will host a so-called France-Africa Summit in our capital, Nairobi. We do not recognise it as a diplomatic forum. We denounce it as a coordinated act of imperialist aggression; a desperate effort by French finance capital, backed by NATO and lubricated by IMF dictates, to re-entrench colonial domination in Africa.
This summit is not a peace offering. It is a bayonet sheathed in soft language. It is imperialism with a new flag, a new script, but the same mission; to plunder, dominate, and divide.
Not in our name. Not on our soil. Not in our Africa.
While the patriotic peoples of West Africa have expelled French troops; rising in revolt in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger; Kenya is being transformed into the eastern beachhead of the same decaying empire. Today, the United States operates military bases in Lamu and Wajir. Britain maintains its colonial garrison in Laikipia. And now France seeks to embed itself permanently on our territory.
These foreign military bases do not defend the African people.
They defend capital.
They defend recolonisation.
They enforce the neo-slavery of global finance.
The Nairobi 2026 Summit is designed to rebrand France as a “partner for development,” cloaked in talk of climate, aid, and cooperation. But we remember the truth of history:ﾠ
From Guinea to Algeria, from Madagascar to Mali, from Congo to Rwanda: France leaves a trail of blood, rape, debt, and scorched earth.
They bring no solidarity.
They bring shackles.
The Communist Party Marxist Kenya declares:
1. The France-Africa Summit is a provocation against the sovereignty of the Kenyan people and the dignity of all African peoples.
2. The continued presence of foreign military bases in Kenya is an occupation; a daily insult to the memory of our martyrs and the aspirations of our working class and peasantry.
3. We, the CPMK, alongside the masses of Kenya, will resist this summit through revolutionary mobilisation, mass political education, and internationalist unity. We shall not host our executioners. We shall not kneel before our colonisers.
We hereby urge all organisations present at this Conference to:
1. Stand in full and practical solidarity with the Communist Party Marxist Kenya and the Kenyan people in our rejection of the France-Africa Summit and all foreign military presence.
2. Endorse and disseminate the CPMK Concept Paper:
“Organise! Resist! Expel Imperialism from Our Soil – France-Africa Summit and the Recolonisation of Kenya”
This paper unmasks the military-financial strategy of French imperialism, exposes Kenya’s role as an imperialist beachhead, and outlines the revolutionary path of resistance being taken by the Kenyan working masses.
3. Join the global call to:
Disband NATO!
Disband all foreign military bases in Kenya!
Cancel the France-Africa Summit!
Support African and global anti-imperialist resistance movements!
Long Live Proletarian Internationalism!
Smash French Imperialism – From Bamako to Nairobi!
No Foreign Troops on African Soil – Not Now, Not Ever!
Africa Will Not Host the Bayonets of Empire!
