A Letter of Support to Anti-Imperialist International Conference

Said Bakkali I Party of Progress and Socialism(Morocco)

Dear comrades in the Anti-Imperialist International Conference,

First, we salute the organizational committee and all the comrades of Anti-Imperialist Platform for organizing this important conference. Indeed, our world needs, especially during these difficult days, the union of all AntiImperialist and progressists forces to confront the expansion of wars and conflicts dynamized mainly by the NATO troops.

The NATO is not only the military alliance of the imperialist countries of the West, but it is the apparatus that is used to control the world and to impose the willing of imperialism and capitalism over the peoples of the world. Without the weapons provided by the NATO the Zionist formation called (Israel) could not neither start recently the aggression against Iran, nor continuing the genocide in Palestine. NATO is the apparatus of the evil and should be stopped and dismantled. Around 180 nuclear weapons remain at bases across Europe 2 as part of NATO defense policy, in violation of international law and despite massive opposition. These nuclear weapons are not a threat to Europe or Russia, but to all the areas including our African countries.

The expansion of the NATO towards the East of Europe is not a danger to Russia, but to all the eastern countries that want to keep their sovereignty and freedom and protect their peoples. Stopping the expansion of NATO means that the world could be a better place for peacemakers and for progressist powers that adopt socialism. Stopping NATO means that the conflicts have a chance to resolutions and that the genocide in Palestine and the aggressions against Lebanon, Syria, Iran and Yemen could come to an end. Stopping NATO means that Korea could reunify again, and that development and prosperity could spread over the peoples of the Global South.

We salute again this initiative, and we wish all the best to comrades of AntiImperialist Platform in their militant tasks and struggle against NATO.
