MESSAGE TO THE PAN-AFRICAN SUMMIT AGAINST IMPERIALISM
Comrades participating in the Pan-African Summit against Imperialism,
The Organisation of West African Peoples (WAPO) is pleased to take part in the proceedings of this Pan-African Summit of African Revolutionary and Patriotic Organisations, held in response to the France-Africa summit organised by French imperialism in Kenya.
A France-Africa Summit in an Anglophone country! This is an expression of the fact that imperialism knows no borders of domination, and that likewise, anti-imperialism can know no limits in its expression.
West Africa is the part of Africa with 425 million inhabitants — approximately one third of the African population — covering 6,144,000 km², or one fifth of the total surface area of Africa.
France holds in the West African sub-region: 8 colonies (Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Guinea-Conakry), formerly known as “French West Africa (AOF)”. Great Britain holds 4: Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, and Sierra Leone.
Comrades, as has become apparent to the eyes of the world today, the French imperialists are the greatest aggressors of African peoples.
There is a division of roles within NATO, and France has been assigned the role of NATO’s gendarme in Africa.
History readily recalls today that the greatest perpetrators of genocide and suppression of indigenous peoples in the territories now known as the United States, Australia, and New Zealand were principally the English; that the greatest genocidal forces against the indigenous peoples of Latin America were the Hispano-Portuguese. What is less known, or what global hypocrisy pretends to ignore, is that for African peoples, the greatest genocidal criminals against humanity are the French. The gravest matter is this: whereas the crimes of other imperialist powers can be conjugated in the past tense, those of the French dominators remain in the present. Two examples attest to this: the CFA franc issue, where France still clings, in defiance of all ethics, to the maintenance of this colonial currency; and the evident fact that the least developed countries in Africa are the former French colonies.
Africa is unfortunately the greatest victim of this French genocidal policy, which spans at least two centuries:
1. Madagascar — 27 March 1947: The Madagascar Uprising. Official toll: 89,000 dead in just 20 months, killed by French colonial troops.
2. Massacres of Sétif, Guelma, and Kherrata in the Algerian Constantinois — 8 May 1945: 45,000 Algerian nationalists killed. The Algerian War of 1954–1962: official toll over 250,000 men.
3. War in Cameroon (1955–1962) against the UPC. Toll: 400,000 people killed by French troops — a true genocide. Nationalists Moumié, Ruben Um Nyobé, and Wandié were assassinated.
4. Rwandan Genocide: 800,000 dead.
5. War in Congo-Brazzaville (1998): 25,000 dead.
6. Biafra War: over 1 million dead.
7. War in Libya: officially at least 50,000 killed.
France has organised individual political assassinations and targeted killings: Barthélémy Boganda, Ruben Um Nyobé, Tovalou Houénou Quenum, Sylvanus Olympio, Sankara, Gaddafi. It has engineered the “bantustanisation” of Africa by creating micro-states and breaking up every large African federal entity under its domination (AOF, AEF). It has never accepted the existence of the Nigerian federation, which it considers a threat to its domination of its small neighbouring Francophone neo-colonies, and has attempted on multiple occasions to break it apart (see the Biafra War and the French contribution).
8. Currently: the war in the Sahel against the peoples of the AES (Alliance of Sahel States).
The war in the Sahel is the regional reflection of the global war being waged in the world today, with the same protagonists: on one side, the NATO bloc led by American imperialism, with French imperialism as its principal instrument of action and its auxiliaries — the regimes of Morocco, Qatar, and Ukraine; on the other, the BRICS countries, including China, Russia, Brazil, Iran, and North Korea. The victory of the AES peoples, alongside that of Iran, would contribute to the collapse of imperialism worldwide.
Comrades, for some time now, France has made it its mission to extend its tentacles beyond its Francophone sphere of influence. The France-Africa Summit being held in Nairobi, Kenya, is a clear illustration of this.
As evidence, French investments are constantly increasing in Africa outside the French zone — in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, and elsewhere.
Today, French imperialism, losing ground in the face of patriotic revolutions — especially in the Sahel — seeks to cling to other footholds. But it is a lost cause.
African peoples are now rising up for the struggle against imperialism and neo-colonialism in all its forms.
Down with French imperialism! Down with US imperialism!
Long live Pan-Africanism!

MESSAGE AU SOMMET PANAFRICAIN CONTRE L’IMPERIALISME
Camarades participants au Sommet panafricain contre l’impérialisme
L’Organisation des Peuples de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (WAPO) est heureuse de prendre part aux travaux de ce Sommet panafricain des Organisations révolutionnaires et patriotiques africaines en riposte au sommet France-Afrique organisé par l’impérialisme français au Kenya.
Un Sommet France-Afrique dans un pays anglophone ! C’est l’expression que l’impérialisme n’a pas de frontière de domination et que de même l’anti-impérialisme ne saurait avoir de limites pour son expression.
L’Afrique de l’Ouest, c’est cette partie de l’Afrique avec 425 millions d’habitants, soit environ un tiers de la population africaine sur 6.144.000 km2 soit le 1/5 de la superficie de toute l’Afrique.
La France possède dans la sous-région ouest-africaine : 8 Colonies (Sénégal, Côte d’Ivoire, Bénin, Togo, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Guinée Conakry), autrefois connue sous l’appellation de « Afrique Occidentale Française(AOF), la Grande Bretagne (4) : Nigeria, Ghana, Gambie, Sierra Leone.
Camarades comme il est apparu aujourd’hui aux yeux du monde, les impérialistes français sont les plus grands agresseurs des peuples africains.
Il y a comme une répartition des rôles au sein de l’OTAN et à la France revient le rôle de gendarme de l’OTAN en Afrique.
L’histoire retient aisément aujourd’hui que les plus grands auteurs de génocide et de suppression des peuples autochtones de l’espace territorial appelé Etats-Unis, l’Australie et la Nouvelle Zélande furent principalement les Anglais ; que les plus grands génocidaires des peuples autochtones de l’Amérique latine furent les Hispano-Portugais. Ce que l’on sait moins ou que l’hypocrisie mondiale feint d’ignorer, c’est que pour les peuples africains, les plus grandes génocidaires et criminels l’humanité, ce sont les Français. Le plus grave, c’est que si l’on peut conjuguer les crimes des autres puissances impérialistes au passé, ceux des dominateurs français sont encore au présent. Deux exemples peuvent attester ce fait : la question du CFA où la France s’agrippe encore au mépris de toute éthique au maintien de cette monnaie coloniale et le fait patent que les pays africains les moins développés en Afrique se trouvent être les anciennes colonies françaises.
L’Afrique est malheureusement la grande victime de cette politique génocidaire française qui s’étale sur au moins deux siècles

7°- Guerre du Biafra : bilan plus de 1 million de morts.
8°-Guerre de Libye : Officiellement au moins 50.000 tués
La France a organisé des assassinats politiques individuels, des assassinats ciblés : Barthélémy Baganda ; Ruben Um NYOBE, Tovalou Houénou Quenum, Sylvius Olympio, Sankara, Kadhafi. ; Elle a organisé la « bantoustanisation » de l’Afrique en créant de micro-Etats et en brisant toute grande entité fédérale africaine sous sa domination (AOF, AEF). Elle n’a jamais accepté l’existence de la fédération du Nigeria qu’elle considère comme une menace pour la domination de ses petites néo colonies francophones voisines du Nigeria qu’elle a tenté à maintes reprises de briser (confère la guerre du Biafra et la contribution française.).
9°- Actuellement la guerre au Sahel contre les peuples de l’AES.
La guerre au Sahel est la réplique de la guerre mondiale en œuvre dans le monde avec les mêmes protagonistes ; d’un côté, le groupe de l’OTAN ayant à sa tête l’impérialisme américain avec comme instrument d’action principale l’impérialisme français et ses supplétifs le pouvoir du Maroc, Qatar et l’Ukraine et de l’autre, les pays de BRICS, avec la Chine, la Russie, le Brésil, l’Iran et la Corée du Nord. La Victoire des peuples de l’AES participerait en même temps que celle de l’Iran à l’effondrement impérialiste dans le monde.
Camarades, depuis quelque temps, la France s’est donnée pour mission d’étendre ses tentacules hors de son pré-carré francophone. Le sommet France-Afrique qui se tient à Nairobi au Kenya, en est l’illustration.
A titre d’exemple les investissements français en augmentation constante en Afrique hors zone française telle l’Afrique du Sud, le Nigeria, le Ghana, etc.
Aujourd’hui l’impérialisme français en perte de vitesse avec des révolutions patriotiques surtout au Sahel cherche à se raccrocher à autre chose. Mais c’est peine perdue.
Les peuples africains se mettent désormais debout pour le combat contre l’impérialisme, contre le néocolonialisme sous toutes ses formes.
